Overview

Southland Shooters is a development programme for all girls and boys from years 1 - 8 who are keen to experience basketball in the region. Southland Shooters is run all year round, each school term focusing on a different age group.

​

Sessions run for approximately 1 hour (depending on the age group).

 

The sessions focus on key skills and small sided games (where appropriate)

 

Sessions are facilitated by SBA Development Officer, along with other SBA coaches.

Awards are given out for outstanding achievement and individual ability is catered for wherever possible.

 

All players are to wear a reversible Southland Shooters basketball singlet.

 

Parents are encouraged to watch and assist.

Cost: $85 per term including singlet (six total sessions) - $60 if you already have a Southland Shooters singlet or choose not to purchase one.

Year 3&4: 15/02/2023 - 29/03/2022 (not 01/03/2023)
