Southland Basketball Association Social League has two competitions each year. It is aimed at social and beginner players and teams.

The first Social League (Summer) runs from February - April each year, on Monday nights at ILT Stadium Southland, with games starting at 6:00pm, 6:50pm and 7:35pm. The 2026 competition will run for 8 weeks.

The second Social League (Spring) runs from September - November each year, on Monday nights at ILT Stadium Southland, with games starting from 6:00pm, 6:50pm and 7:35pm. The 2026 competition will run for 8 weeks.
