SBA COMPETITIONS
Southland Basketball run a variety of local leagues for our Southland teams and players. From school leagues to social and adult A Grade leagues, you will find all the information, links, draws, past results and guides on each competition's page.
A GRADE
A Grade League is our premiere open league for the top basketball teams and players in the region. It runs from around April - August each year, over a total of 10 Tuesday nights at ILT Stadium Southland, beginning with game times ranging from 6PM - 9PM.
SUMMER SOCIAL
Social Summer League is our first social league of the year. It is aimed at social and beginner players and teams. The league runs from around February - May each year on 8 Monday nights at ILT Stadium Southland, with game times starting at 6PM.
SPRING SOCIAL
Social Spring League is our second social league of the year. It is aimed at social and beginner players and teams. The league runs from around August - November each year, on 8 Monday nights at ILT Stadium Southland, with game times starting at 6PM.
SECONDARY SCHOOL
Secondary School League is our school team based league for Years 9 - 13. The league runs from around June - September each year, over a total of 10 Friday nights at ILT Stadium Southland, with game times starting at 4PM.
JUNIOR HIGH SUMMER
The Southland Basketball Association Junior High League is our school team based league for Years 7 and 8. The summer league runs on 8 Tuesday nights around February - May at ILT Stadium Southland. Game times start at 4PM.
JUNIOR HIGH SPRING
The Southland Basketball Association Junior High League is our school team based league for Years 7 and 8. The spring league is a short six week league running from around October - November on Friday nights at ILT Stadium Southland. Game times start at 4PM.
MINIBALL
The Southland Basketball Association Miniball League is our school team based league for Years 3 - 6. The league runs over 8 Tuesday nights around September - December at ILT Stadium Southland. Game times start at 4PM.
