Age Groups

​

BASKETBALL NEW ZEALAND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR 2027 REPRESENTATIVES COMPETITION:

• U20: Born in 2008, 2009, 2010; players must be aged at least 15 years on the first day that the competition commences, and must not be over 19 years as at 31 December 2027.

• U18: Born in 2010, 2011, 2012; players must be aged either 15, 16 or 17 years as at 31 December 2027.

• U16: Born in 2012, 2013, 2014; players must be aged either 13, 14 or 15 years as at 31 December.

• U14: Born in 2014, 2015, 2016; players must be aged either 11, 12 or 13 years as at 31 December 2027.

Please arrive at least 15 mins before the trial time to register your attendance on the day with admin, bring a large water bottle and a dark and light t-shirt. Please do not wear long sleeves and long pants, so we are able to put a number on you.

ALL TRIALS ARE CLOSED SESSIONS, SO NO SPECTATORS
